To record, preserve and publish historical information; to acquire, preserve and display historical artifacts; to promote and encourage historical study, and; to perpetuate historical tracitions all as related to the town of Mont Vernon, New Hampshire from the time of the earliest settlers (c. 1740) to the present.

The museum, small library, office and storage space are located in the upstairs of the Town Hall on Main Street.  Address mail to:

The museum is open (when volunteers are available), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., during the warmer months, July 5th & 6th, Aug. 2nd &3rd, Sept. 6th & 7th, and Oct. 4th & 5th, and at other times by special request.

Regular business meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall meeting room (downstairs).  Meetings are open to the public.  Everyone is welcome.
