| Functions performed | Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to develop character, spiritual growth, good citizenship, sportsmanship and other noble goals. Pack 420 includes all of Mont Vernon; boys are also assigned to a den, usually a neighborhood group of six to eight boys. Please contact the CubMaster to learn more or to enroll your youngster. |

| Special Events | Banquet in February, Pinewood Derby car race in March, cookout in May. At the annual Spring Gala and Lamson Farm Day, the Town helps support scouting by purchasing grilled lunches. |
